Content and Trigger Warnings for my books

We have warnings and ratings for music, movies and TV shows. It stands to reason we should have something for the book world as well. We have genres and subgenres for our books, but is that really enough?

I used to think that the blurb and the labels we chose for the books when we publish on various outlets would be enough, but that’s just not true. In fact, if you try to specifically list triggers or content warnings for your books on Amazon, they end up punishing you. You’re put in the “dreaded” dungeon and not found through normal searches, or they outright shut your account down.

Now, as an author of erotica and erotic romance, most of my books are “hidden” on Amazon unless I provide a direct link for my readers. Sometimes they can find my work by searching by my pen name, but not always. This is not only frustrating as all hell, but makes even more work for us to get our work out to the readers who want it.

Below you will find a list of content and trigger warnings for my books. I will try to keep updating it as they get published. These are just for the Tammy Dennings Maggy books. The other books under my alter egos will have their own trigger warning pages. This is the best way that I know how to get it out there for each book and not get banned on the vendors…well, right now it’s just Amazon being that ass, but isn’t it always?
