After an amazing career as a veterinarian, I am now pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a published author. On September 13, 2011, the first book in my Now and Forever series was released.  For the Love of Quinn  had been my baby for the two years and I thank the Goddess daily that I listened to my friends and family who encouraged me to get off my butt and send it in to the publisher. Writing erotic romances has been a fantastic experience and one I hope to continue for many more years to come.  With the release of The Island (Now and Forever 2) on November 13, 2012 and the next three books in the series in various stages of editing and polishing before they are sent to Siren for consideration, my life has been completely taken over by my characters.

In order to get a little bit of a break from Quinn and the gang, I’ve also published my first book of poetry and now have a second one coming out at the end of February 2013. A second series called the Kayne Legacy is in the final planning stages and the first book of that group will hopefully be released by the end of the Summer 2013. If you think I’m busy, multiply that by three and you will get the full effect. I am but one of three different pen names all with projects, websites/blogs, social media of their own.  As The Vixen, I’m part of a wonderful group of erotic romance authors called Four Seduced Muses. That little project of ours has taken off so dramatically that all four of us are still a bit shocked by the whole experience. It’s one place where no topic is taboo when it comes to the steamy side of erotic romance and sex in general.

I am a Midwestern girl who lives in California.  I feel like a fish out of water most of the time out here, but I have met a lot of people who help to make me feel a little less homesick for Michigan.  I hope to explore more of the Pacific Northwest over the next few years and enjoy all that it has to offer.  With my wonderful husband and muse by my side, I know I’ll find HOME wherever we end up but at the moment it looks like we will be heading up toward Washington after he retires next year from the Coast Guard. Who knows, maybe I will write another series set in that area. The possibilities are endless and I hope you all come along on this fantastic journey with me.

What’s in the works?

Sassy Vixen Publishing will be entering a new phase in 2013, becoming an official LLC and my very own publishing house. Sure it’s just a little bungalow right now, but one day I hope to see it grow into a large village with many of my fellow authors and friends joining me and my alter egos creating a fabulous world of fantasy and make believe.  Our first “group” project will be the Temptations Resort shared world series. It will be a place where adults can go to experience any of their fantasies. From sweet and sensual to hot and spicy to the outright down and dirty, all will be found on the island that is Temptations Resort.

**UPDATE** Sassy Vixen Publishing LLC is official! My husband and I received the confirmation today April 22, 2013. We are on our way!

The Courtship of the Vampyre was released as promised in February 2013. While writing the poems, I’ve discovered even more characters that are demanding to be heard in the Kayne Legacy Series. I’ve even toyed with the idea of changing the name of the series to The Guardians of the Night, but then that would limit the scope of the series to just that group of vampires. I think the legacy of Cain/Kayne is much more than that now that his brother Malachi cropped up. He’s the seventh son of Adam and one that got the curse he so wanted to see put on Cain for causing their mother Eve such sorrow and pain. Well, Malachi, aka Black Heart, found out quickly that it’s not wise to piss off the gods…any of them, but in particular it wasn’t wise to question the ruling of The Three.

The Surrender of Julia (Now and Forever 3) and My Love, My Friend (Now and Forever 4) are now in the final stages. I’ve set my own personal deadline to have both into Siren before the end of July 2013 with Forever Mine (Now and Forever 5) fast on their heels. Since these stories all take place around the same time, many of the scenes overlap and you get to see them from the different characters’ points of view.  There are two more books that may end up in this series…which is at the moment at NINE books. One is the story of Katrina and Michael Hartley and the other would be a M/M erotic romance centered around one of my favorite secondary characters of the entire series. Yes, Anthony Mancuso will have his own story and his happily ever after. I’m just not sure it will be in the series, or as a stand alone. Stay tuned!

Sassy Vixen Reviews with The Vixen is another project I took on because I wanted a place to publish my reviews and not worry that they will be deleted by Amazon. Well, it’s taken on a life of it’s own now. I’m accepting requests for reviews. I’ve done two from requests and they’ve both been wonderful experiences. I hope to continue with that as I do have a large backlog of reviews to get up there from what I’ve already read on my kindles. LOL
