One Two, Karma’s Coming for You! New Free Read #KIBJ #paranormal

KIBJ meme

Welcome to the first installment of my new paranormal erotic romance Karma In Blue Jeans (Immortal Siblings). As you know, this is the first book in this cross over series and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. Each week I’ll post a new chapter so you can follow along as the Goddess Karma gives humans their just rewards…good or bad. Since this is updated each week, I want you to enjoy the story as it unfolds. No blurbs. No teasers. Just a chapter at a time.

For those of you who’ve read my Now and Forever series (three books are out now) and the first in my Kayne Legacy series will be familiar with three of the Immortal Siblings already. Yeshua is the Eldest and Master Creator. Fate is the Goddess in charge of Destiny, and Lucius is the God of Trials and Tribulations. Together they make up The Three. They have many more siblings each in charge of various tasks when it comes to overseeing their mortal creations. In this book you’ll meet Rhiannon, the Goddess of Second Chances and the heroine, Karma. You all know of Karma as in what goes around comes around. What you may not know is she takes her job seriously. She doesn’t come by her punishments lightly and she doesn’t reward on a whim. Her gifts can be a blessing depending upon how you benefit from them either as the direct recipient, or those who’ve asked for her to intervene.

She hears your pleas and knows all. You can’t hide or lie your way out of it when Karma comes to call.

*snicker*

Sorry, couldn’t help myself. Karma isn’t always sweet, nor is she always kind. She is however just and fair. That too depends upon your perspective.

Enough of the small talk. Here’s what you’ve all been waiting for…

Karma In Blue Jeans

Chapter 1

fashionable beautiful girl in jeans.blond Sexy woman.Long hair“Tell me why you’ve summoned me, Rhiannon? Lucius assured me you would handle this one yourself.”

The Goddess of Second Chances sighed. “This human has pushed me well beyond my breaking point. I gave her every opportunity to prove to me she was worthy of the second chances.”

“Peace and love no longer working?” Karma raised one eyebrow and tilted her head. She knew damn well it would be enough to set her sister off on one of her lectures explaining why every mortal deserved a second chance. This one they observed now had been a special project. Their Elder Siblings had ruled she was to allow Rhiannon to continue to work her charms.

She’d fought with them for hours that it was now her job to dole out the punishment to fit the crimes this author had committed. She’d been right from the start and it took all her strength not to gloat.

“Save the ‘I told you so’ speech. I wasn’t wrong to help this one overcome her cancer scares—twice mind you.”

“No, you weren’t. The deal was she’d change her life around in exchange for those new leases on life.”

Rhiannon rolled her violet eyes and tossed her wild man of multi-colored hair. “She did, but not for the better. Instead of enjoying life, she’s become a vile creature. She terrorizes her competition and has been manipulating her fans behind the scenes to get them to do her dirty work.”

“Not to mention destroying her liver guzzling the vino every day.”

Her older sister nodded. “I helped her find a second chance at love, get pregnant after doctors thought the chemo had rendered her infertile, and finally gave her the courage to pitch her first novel to an internationally best-selling author. She won a publishing contract because of that pitch and here she is squandering all of it away.”

“Aye. I’ve kept close tabs on her too. You felt so strongly about her I’d thought perhaps my initial judgment had been too harsh—“

Rhiannon laughed. “Never have you been wrong before, but I had hoped maybe this time would be different.”

She shook her head. “This was a test for both of us. Yeshua wanted to be sure we’ll be able to take over if Lucius decides to follow his heart.”

“I told The Three I cannot do what needs to be done. I’m too trusting Their creations will prove they deserve all the blessings we have to offer. You on the other hand…”

“Enjoy punishing too much?”

“That’s not what I was going to say.”

“I do take my job seriously. There are consequences for our actions, both good and bad. I reward as often as I punish.”

“That’s why I asked you to join me here. It’s time to punish this one. She needs to see and experience the harm she’s done to her colleagues and those who have supported her unconditionally.”

Karma nodded. “She will.”

“Times three?”

“Threefold for every infraction. The list is long and she will suffer before it’s over.”

“Let’s hope she sees the truth and can finally change her ways.”

“She’ll end up one miserable creature if she doesn’t. Those she’s harmed will no longer have to worry about what she can and cannot do. Her humiliation will be epic.”

Rhiannon raised her eyebrow this time. “You’ve picked up some more of their language I see. Courtesy of your lover?”

Karma stifled a giggled. Her sister’s expression mirrored the one she’d given her on many occasions. In fact, both had learned it from their eldest brother. With just that look, Yeshua had been able to get them to confess anything. If only the mortals could experience the look from him. Our jobs would be so much easier! “Justice has blended in with them for centuries by adapting to their ways. He has been a great asset in my dealings with them. Frankly, I don’t understand half of what he says when it comes to all the electronics. I can see the fascination Lucius has for all of it, but it frustrates me. I feel it hinders me from carrying out my duties.”

“Will They allow you more time living with them as you’ve asked?”

“Fate doesn’t think it’s wise. She’s afraid I’ll join Lucius and give up my Immortality for a lowly human.”

“You never know what your heart will decide, little sister.”

She shook her head. “I’m quite content with my position and with Justice.”

“A demigod is nothing more than a glorified mortal. He may have the gift of long life, but he will not live forever, darling. He’ll grow old while you stay forever young and vibrant.” Rhiannon combed her fingers through Karma’s long tresses. “I do love your blonde look. You’d fit right in with those you have to put through the Tests.”

“Lucius suggested I go back to my raven hair, cut it short and let it go wild. His idea is if I looked more like him, Fate would cave in. She has a soft spot for him even though they bicker all the time.”

“You’ve changed your appearance to go with your moods. We all know when you show up with the fiery red curls piled high on your head, Karma the Banshee is on the prowl!”

The goddesses’ laughter rang out. Only the pets in the room heard the tinkling. They swished their tails and twitched their ears in response.

“How will you begin with this one?”

She smiled. “It’s already started…”

“Evangeline? What’s happened to all your books on your publisher’s website? Every single one has a message that they’re unavailable and under review.”

She scowled. Her husband had a way of turning every little thing into a major catastrophe. Nine times out of ten he’s either misread or misunderstood something. “What the fuck are you talking about now? I was on there this morning to check sales and nothing was wrong. You must be looking at someone else’s author page.”

“No, I’m not. Pull it up for yourself if you don’t believe me. They’re listed as unavailable on Amazon too.”

Her stomach dropped. Her worst nightmare had actually come true. Last year, she’d pretended someone had hindered her ability to promote her books. She’d used her daughter’s computer to report a few of her posts as offensive. Facebook did the rest. No one could post links to her books on the site for three days. Evangeline had a blast watching her uber fans go on a witch hunt. Guzzling glass after glass of Pinot Grigio and watching the top authors in her genre slip down the rankings had provided her a rush like no other she’s ever experienced.

The thrill had been such a high that she ignored the warnings she’d secured her spot on the authors behaving badly lists among her colleagues, bloggers and readers. She didn’t care. All of them suspected her of being the master mind behind the turmoil, but none had any proof.

Her cell rang. By the ring tone she knew it was her publisher before she caught a glimpse of the caller ID. She cleared her throat and smiled. She hoped it would help bring a carefree tone to her voice when she answered.

“Hey, Jess! What can I do for you?”

“Evie, I wanted you to hear this from me before we make a press release. We’ve been hit with a cease and desist order and had to pull all of your books.”

“I don’t understand. Why?” No no no! This is not happening.

“Angela Worthington has come forward and claims you’ve plagiarized her work.”

Her heart stopped. Her throat constricted and she struggled to pull air into her lungs. That bitch! She’d promised to keep her yap shut.

“Did you hear what I said? She has proof—page after page of rough drafts, emails between the two of you, screen shots of everything.”

“No. She’s lying. We worked together, yes. I bounced ideas off of her. Nothing more.”

“Cut the bullshit. I went through all of this myself. It’s tight. She’s filed lawsuits against Bliss and you for copyright infringement and theft of livelihood.”

“Are you kidding me? Theft of her livelihood? She’s never published a word other than putting it up on Wattpad. She doesn’t have a leg to stand on.”

The doorbell rang just as she walked out of her office. “This is the first I’ve heard of any lawsuit. Seems to me there is something else going on. She wants to ruin me.” She ripped open the door to find a hot stud muffin standing on her porch.

“Evangeline Cross?”

“Yes?” She stood taller and pushed out her chest. “Can I help you?”

He handed her a large manila envelope. “You’ve been served.”

She recoiled and dropped the package to the ground. “Is this a fucking joke?”

“No Ma’am. I don’t know what’s in there but it came straight from the courthouse downtown. If I were you, I’d take it seriously.”

“Get back here! I won’t accept this.”

He shrugged. “Suit yourself. Doesn’t bother me in the least what you do with it. I’ve delivered it to you after you confirmed your identity.” He turned away from her and walked to his car parked two houses down from hers.

Well at least he had the decency to not pull into my driveway.

She’d been so rattled by the kid, she’d forgotten about Jess and the phone still at her ear.

“Evie? Evie? What’s going on?”

She marched back in the house and slammed the door behind her. She slid down the polished handcrafted cherry wood to the floor. “It was a punk ass process server.”

A sigh on the other end of the phone told her Jess was fed up. “I hope you have a good lawyer. Bliss will not be representing you in this. As far as we’re concerned, you broke contract with us. Your books have all been removed and we will be asking the courts to force you to cover all legal fees.”

“Wait a goddamn minute! After all I’ve done for you and for Bliss, you’re going to treat me like gutter trash?”

“All you’ve done for us? We took a chance on you because Liberty Valour vouched for you. Your debut novel with one of our competitors was a success. We awarded you the contract and hefty advances because you promised you could deliver.”

“I gave you a whole new series and the start of another one. Each of them has hundreds of reviews—“

“ALL NOT YOURS! You stole every single one of them from Angela and then promised her money in return for her silence.”

“No! She was paid as my assistant and crit partner.”

“Spin it any way you want. I have copies of your emails. I’ll be damned if I’ll sit back and let you drag Bliss through the mud because you broke the law. Ain’t happening, sweetheart.”

Her mind raced. Everything she’d worked so hard to achieve was slipping through her fingers. Time to play the pity card. “So you’re going to abandon me now when I need you the most? My health can’t take this kind of stress.”

“Enough! I’m sick and tired of hearing about your latest illness. Unless you can provide medical records to prove any of it, I’m not falling for another of your sob stories. Save it for the judge.”

The heat rose from her chest to the top of her head. “Don’t think for one minute I’m going down alone in this. Bliss owes me three months of royalties.”

“Subtract it from the amount you owe us. We’ve advanced you money for your last round in the hospital against your future royalties. Your sales have slumped. According to my records, you owe Bliss another ten grand.”

“That’s bullshit and you know it. Last quarter I was all caught up.”

“I guess that’s one more thing you’ll have to prove in court.”

KIBJ meme“Fine! You want a long, drawn out legal battle? You got it! My fans will turn on Bliss when they find out what you’ve done to me.”

“You better check out Twitter. The lawsuit has been made public. Your ‘fans’ are demanding an explanation. If I were you, I’d think long and hard about what you say in public or in that private group of yours from now on.”

“Is that a threat?” Her voice rose three octaves and she prepared to launch into another volley of profanities.

Her husband ripped the phone from her fingers. “Thank you for the call, Jess. From now on I think it’s best we only have contact through our lawyers.” He pushed the disconnect button and tossed the phone across the room.

“What did you do that for? The bitch accused me of stealing and lying to her. I won’t take that shit from anyone.”

“Stop it, Evangeline. You’ve told the lies so often now you’ve got yourself believing they’re true. The only book you wrote on your own was the first one. It’s high time you admitted that fact to yourself.”

“What do you know? You don’t read romance.”

“No, but I’ve been in this business long enough to know when someone can’t keep up with all the lies they’ve been telling. You thought you’d never get caught. I warned you this would all come back to bite you in the ass.”

“I didn’t hear you complaining when we went to Hawaii three months ago.”

“With the money you got under false pretenses from Bliss. We didn’t need the money to go to Hawaii. You spent it on the trip and those fancy gift baskets you hand out to people to review your books—books you never wrote yourself. It’s all been a lie.”

Her eyes filled with tears and she collapsed against him. “You’re my husband. You’re supposed to stick by me through richer or poorer.”

“I love you and always will but I can’t stand by and let you keep up this charade. You have to come clean about all of it.”

She shoved him away from her. “What the hell are you going to do if I don’t?”

He dropped his hands and then shook his head. “I nearly lost you twice to cancer. I’d been blinded by having you alive and well that I missed all the warning signs. If you go on with these lies, you’ll lose everything. It doesn’t matter to me now because I lost you, my whole world, the moment you sent the first book to Bliss.”

She stood frozen to the floor as he turned and left her alone. Great! I don’t need him to get through this. I’ll show him. I’ll show everyone.

Come back next week for Chapter 2

Evangeline spirals out of control!

You Were Warned But Read It Anyway. Why? #MyWANA #amwriting

Parental Advisory Label

When you see the notice about explicit content, do you gravitate toward it, run screaming from the room, or scroll on by when surfing the web? As an author of explicit books written for adult eyes only, I’m required to warn readers about the content of my blogs and my books. This gives them the choice to stick around or bolt for the hills if they don’t wish to be offended by something they may see in my posts or books. Even with the warning, there are still people out there who will click through and then complain about the content. I don’t get it. They have made the conscious decision to enter after the warning, proceed full speed ahead and then cry foul when they read something that offends them.

The same can be said for television and movies but I want to focus on books. I’m an author who writes under five pen names and I run my own publishing house…okay, it’s a small cottage but one day we will be larger! Back to the reason for today’s post…

I’m curious. Why would a reader pick an erotica or erotic romance book to read if they already know it’s not their cup of tea? I understand the curiosity of some, and the desire to try something new for others. Those are not the readers I’m referring to here. Why choose to read a book in a genre you don’t like, detest, or find gross when you know it will offend you?

shutterstock_114601687Far too often I see reviews posted for erotica and erotic romances with “No Way” as the review and a one star. Some complain the book is all sex and no plot. Others are repulsed by the explicit language. Hell, even my mother asked me why I had to describe every little detail in the love scenes. Explaining to her that’s what is EXPECTED in erotica and erotic romance was easier than explaining it to some readers who have been reading books labeled as erotic and explicit when they’re not. Yes they’re steamy, but the play by play details are not there. When the genres are misrepresented to readers by authors and publishers, it makes it very difficult for those of us who do write explicit scenes and don’t use purple prose to showcase our work.

The complaints stating the stories are unrealistic or too over the top to be believable are also an enigma for me. These tales are SUPPOSED TO BE over the top. They’re FANTASIES. Whether they’re of the sweet variety or the melt your thong, down and dirty “fuckfests”, each and every one of them are fictionalized fantasies from the mind of the author. Just because you’ve never experienced any of it yourself doesn’t mean it could never possibly happen.

For the Love of Quinn
In Print and Ebook Formats

Before you think something is too over the top to believe, turn on the television and watch the news or scroll through the feeds on social media where over the top is the norm. In my first novel, For the Love of Quinn (Now and Forever 1) I introduced a group of characters who are all close to each other and are there through all the good and bad times. For a few readers, this was over the top and would never happen in real life. She felt there was no way so many people would be involved in the the lives of a couple or work together to bring a couple together.

Hate to break it to that reviewer and anyone else with similar questions but Quinn’s story is my story. I lived most of what was portrayed in those pages. Yes, some of it was dramatized and names were most definitely changed to protect everyone’s privacy. Some characters were combinations of real people…they know who they are and got a kick out of the book. Jacob Hartley is a combination of three men and Steve Eischer is one of those with a name change. While the real “Steve” didn’t own all of Vegas or have more money than God, he was (and still is) very well off and enjoys giving his friends a chance to fulfill all their wildest dreams.

The villains in the story were based on two real life people as well. Iris and Jackson of course aren’t their real names but they are based on real people and their actions I witnessed first hand. I gave Jackson and his family many of the same habits and mannerisms of my ex and his family. To me, that’s what made those characters believable. I guess in this case, being true to life is too over the top for some readers. I get that. Really I do. I mean, who would want to think this sort of crazy mixed up group of people could actually be real?

I got the same sort of flack about Julia. One of my editors wanted her to be redeemed earlier on in the story. That doesn’t happen in real life, but in the world of romance you want the story to move along so redemption should take place earlier in order to get readers to root for the heroine. Obviously I didn’t agree. I wanted the readers to see Julia in all her nastiness and then see why she was the way she portrayed herself to those in her life. How many times do you see the bitch turn around and earn a happily ever after right off the bat? Usually those witches continue to get what they want no matter who they hurt in the process. In Julia’s story, she came face to face with the consequences of her actions and had to fight to find her way to her HEA. It wasn’t in the first third of her story, but over twenty years later. She is the woman we all love to hate—until she bares her shattered heart and soul.

Are my stories over the top? Damn straight. Are they too over the top to be believable? I don’t think so. If I was still stuck in an emotionally abusive and loveless marriage I might have a different outlook. I lived through all the badness and made it through to my happily ever after. I want my characters to be able to do the same.

What’s so over the top or unbelievable about that?

Go on. Read my books and decide for yourself. Let me know what you think. I’d love to hear from you!

#ThrowbackThursday: Interview with @dochappycamper and Her Favorite Now and Forever Character #OCT #ASMSG

Throwback Thursday layers

Welcome back to Behind Closed Doors and another Throwback Thursday. This week I’d like to continue down memory lane with one of my favorite character interviews. As luck would have it, this interview was originally posted on October 20, 2012, just before the release of the second book in my Now and Forever series.  Anthony Mancouso is the secondary character that just won’t stay in the background or on the sidelines. He has to be front and center and steal every scene he’s in. Because of that, I AM giving him his own book in this series. His story will be the only M/M erotic romance I write. I’ll leave the rest up to my alter ego Lia. 😉  I’ve decided to have Anthony be a permanent resident in Sassy Vixen Publishing’s Temptation Resort shared world series.  More on that later.  For now, let’s revisit with my favorite gay husband, Anthony.

As most of you know by now, The Island is a prequel to For the Love of Quinn. One of my favorite secondary characters in that first book has been pestering me as of late. He’s wanted to weigh in a bit on the prequel. Since it’s very difficult for me to say no to this person, I thought it would be a good idea to bring him here today. He will show up again in future books, so why not get you all prepared for the whirlwind that is Anthony Mancouso.

jeff and my Anthony

Whirlwind? Really? Can’t you do better than that? You are the sassiest broad I know and yet you can only come up with “whirlwind?”  Honey, please.

LOL! Can you stop with the melodramatics for once, Mr. Mancouso? How would you want me to introduce you? As the biggest pain in my ass? 😉

Well, that would be a bit better than a limp ass tornado. How about Typhoon Tony?

That is a good description of you. You zip in, take over and leave a person a complete wreck after you leave. Typhoon Tony it is!

jeff_lewis-300x209(He crosses his arms over his chest and rolls his eyes at me. He knows I hate that, especially since he constantly reminds me this is how I look when I get upset with him. Another interview is going to be hijacked by a diva!) Oh come on! I wore your favorite purple shirt today. You are an author for Goddess sake and yet you stick with something silly as Typhoon Tony? I was joking, you know.

You are such a diva, Anthony! Did Steve put you up to this? He was here the other day and absolutely tortured me. He kept bringing up our past even after he promised to not to talk about it.

Of course I’m a diva and that’s why you love me. Seriously, did you actually think Steve wouldn’t try to turn the interview into a trip down memory lane? You are the one woman who got away. And don’t you say that was Quinn. We all know her time with Steve was just to get her to the point in her life where she found Jacob again.

So you’ve been paying attention to the story lines now, huh?

I always pay close attention when it comes to Stephen and those he’s allowed in his inner circle. You know better than anyone how he used to close himself off from anything but his work. I’m still not happy you had Quinn bring him out of his workaholic ways. It should have been you.

Stop it! This is supposed to be a discussion about Quinn and Jacob. Not about what could’ve been between me and Steve.  You aren’t so innocent here. Aren’t you still in love with him yourself?

Just like you, he will always have a special place in my heart but I have found my always and forever now. As a matter of fact, it was Stephen who introduced us. Imagine that. He introduced me to you too.

For that I’ll be forever grateful. I couldn’t imagine my life without you in it, Anthony. Who would plan my vow renewal with Liam?

I wouldn’t let anyone else handle that. Your Liam is such a dreamboat, especially when he’s in that dress uniform. Who would have thought you’d end up with a hunky man in the Coast Guard? I always pegged you for a Marine Corps kind of gal.

LOL! Well, I do have a weakness for all men in uniform but let’s get back on track. Tell me about the first time you saw Quinn and Jacob together. Could you tell they were soul mates or were you still upset she wasn’t with Steve?

I will admit I was a tiny bit disappointed Stephen didn’t fight for her. Once I got over that, I understood why. He saw the connection between Quinn and Jake right from the start. I had to see it for myself to believe it and boy did I ever! I could feel the electricity between them even from across the room. It’s like those stories you read about in Reader’s Digest about someone who survives a lightning strike. Those victims could feel the static electricity in the air before they were struck. My skin literally tingles whenever they are around. Being able to see them on the Island helped put it all into perspective for me. When you are given a gift from The Three, it’s probably wise to not refuse!

I’ll have to agree with you on that one. Finding out you’ve been searching for each other for multiple lifetimes only to be torn apart again and again, has to be a bitter pill to swallow. I mean, is this time going to turn out like the others or will you finally get your happily ever after as promised?

(Anthony rolls his eyes at me again.) Honey, when the Goddess Fate herself gives her word, even a Sassy Vixen like you would have to think twice about doubting your foretold destiny.

You got me there, Anthony.

Here, there, everywhere. You know I always have your back, mi amor. So when are you going to let me start planning that vow renewal of yours?

When are you going to let me write more about you and the love of your life?

Meow! You sure have the snappy comebacks tonight. I’m serious. I have a ton of ideas.

So do I. 😉

Now who’s the one going off script?

Touche!

The Island is available in print!

Hello everyone!

I’m sorry it’s been a little bit since I’ve been back to give you any more updates on my writing. It’s been a hectic last few months to say the least. Now that the official book tour is over, I can sit back and breathe a little bit.  I had received word from Siren Bookstrand that The Island (Now and Forever 2) was going to be released in print much sooner than the April projected dates. Imagine my surprise when I was updating my links on Amazon to find that the book was available a full TWO WEEKS before the new projected date!  Whoohoo!

Released November 2012

So now you can get the paperback versions of The Island on Amazon and on Barnes and Noble. I’m sure there are other sites out there that may have it available and if you find them, just put the links up in the comments section with this post.

Thank you all for supporting me in my journey. I couldn’t do any of this without you. The new poetry book is nearly finished and will be edited shortly. I still have the goal of the end of this month to get it out on Smashwords. Amazon will follow shortly after that. I’m going to try a new writing program called Scrivener with my new projects. I have so many open WIPs and tons of notes all over the place under multiple pen names. I’m confusing the hell out of myself on a daily basis! If I’m confused, how the heck will I ever get my characters all sorted out and in the right books with the right authors. Oy!

Another project I’ll be undertaking is creating a shared world called the Tempations Resort series. I got the idea for a shared world project from the amazing one done by the authors with Wiccan Haus.  I have loved all the books I’ve read by the multiple authors and I still plan on one day submitting one of my own for consideration in the series. If you haven’t checked them out yet, make sure you do especially if you love paranormal romances.  Here is the LINK for their blog. It will explain their whole world.

For Temptations Resort, I wanted to create a world centered around an adult island getaway. There guests will be able to explore any and all of their sexual fantasies whether sweet, sensual, exotic, erotic, or taboo. Once the first book is out, then other authors can add to the world with their own works from all heat levels of romance. Now I write erotic romances, but the sweet stuff is very welcome too. The core idea here is that it’s a fantasy world where the characters get to explore their secret dreams and desires. They can learn about and experience the world of BDSM, create role playing scenarios with a partner or two, experience a menage with as many partners as they wish, or have a quiet getaway with their love.   Look for that series to start being released later in the year, maybe by summer from Sassy Vixen Publishing.

The Island Has Been Nominated for an Award!

I’m thrilled beyond belief right now. I just received word that The Island has been nominated for Best Erotic Romance of 2012 on Sizzling PR’s website. This is the first nomination I’ve received for my writing and it couldn’t have come at a better time. With all the craziness of trying to balance our writing with my evil day job, I’ve had some trouble concentrating on finishing some of my current works in progress.

Having someone acknowledge all the hard work I put into this series has given me that extra boost and put a huge smile on my face. What a way to start off the new year!

Won’t you join me in the fun and take a moment to stop into Sizzling PR’s website by clicking the following link. There you will find the list of categories and the instructions for casting your votes. We have until January 20th to get those votes in.  Thank you all for stopping in today and sharing in my happy dance!

It’s being offered for $3.99.  I’m still waiting for it to show up on Barnes and Noble and iTunes, but within the next couple weeks it should be there along with the first book in this series and my first poetry book.

Starting in about 3 hours is my 24 hour Release Party on Facebook. I’ve got some fun planned at different times during the day so that I can catch people from multiple time zones. Lots of swag and naughty gifts are up for grabs and one Grand Prize for one lucky person. I’ve set up the Rafflecopter for that one to make it fair.

December 14th is going to be another busy day. I’m stopping off at the blog of Miranda Stork as part of the promotional tour for The Island and I’m participating in the Candy Cane Kink Blog Hop on my Sassy Vixen Publishing blog and as my alter ego Lia Michaels on her blog The House of Taboo. Click on the tabs on the menu at the top of the page to take you to those sister blogs on December 14th. You can also find out where the next stop is on the tour by clicking another tab above.

Well, I’m off to get the Margaritas and Mai Tai’s ready for the party! I hope to see you around the tour and the hops over the next few days!

Brightest Blessings

The Island Tour Continues

Hello my friends!

The promotional tour for The Island (Now and Forever 2) is going very well. We’ve only had a few glitches along the way but we managed to turn those into a bunch of fun as well. Later this week is the Facebook Release Party where we will have fun chatting, sharing stories and of course their will be some fun contests and giveaways. I have a lot of prizes to give away. So excited!

Today the tour stops at the blog of one of my fellow authors and friends, Lori King. Because I’m a bit swamped getting ready for the party, two of my characters have agreed to stand in for me and give you a bit more insight into the book. Won’t you stop in and see what the Guardian Angel Daniel and the Goddess Fate have to say about Quinn and Jacob’s love story? Click HERE to visit Lori’s blog.

As with all of my writing, music plays a big part in Quinn and Jacob’s story. Here’s one of the songs that plays during their scenes together. This may be one of the answers to a question or two during the Facebook party. Hint Hint!  LOL

Two Ebooks Are Up For Grabs

There’s only 16 hours left to enter to win two of my books. Where can you do this? Well, I’m over visiting with Jan Bowles. Her blog is the latest stop for the promotional tour for The Island (Now and Forever 2).

Which books are up for grabs? This time I’m offering the ebook copies of my first book of poetry and my latest release. So for one lucky winner, I will be sending them copies of Follow Me: Poetry from the Heart and Soul and The Island.

Go ahead and click HERE to take you to Jan’s blog and the Rafflecopter she set up for the contest.

Good luck!

Kisses, Caresses and Whispers in the Dark is my next stop

I’ve stopped off at the blog of my friend and fellow Siren Author Amber Lea Easton. Today is the first of a three day event there. She’s opening our show with an in depth interview getting quite a bit of information out of me. Oh, she’s good. Very good. I think she was an interrogator in a previous life. 😉

Head on over and see what she asked me about The Island, my writing process, and my personal life. Over the rest of the weekend, I’ll share a post about finding my happily ever after and my characters make another appearance. The interview with Brigid, Lucius and Lady Fate was so popular, we decided to post it again for those who missed it the first time.

Have a wonderful weekend. Blessed be.

Tammy
